This course is designed for those interested in needlework who wish to learn an artistic and creative work with needle and thread.  Artistically inclined people wishing to acquire the creative skills required to express their ideas on cloth will also be interested in this course.

The course is personalised and taught on three levels, allowing students to choose the hours that best suit them. Students will be therefore be working at different levels.

Elementary: Students learn to use different kinds of needles and threads, as well as types of cloth, starting with the easiest embroidery stitches (cross-stitch, chain-stitch, scallop trim…)

INTERMEDIATE: students become familiar with the frame and learn more complicated stitches, such as drawnwork, hemstitching, Italian, Norwegian, Richelieu…

ADVANCED: students deepen in the use of frame, and learn the most difficult stitches (double hemstitching, etc.) and the  application in dressmaking and decoration.

Classes are held in the morning in Nueva Andalucía and San Pedro Alcántara. Maximum of 12 students per class.
