
The aim of this course is to deal with the female sector (housewives, young and retired people), who attend the courses to acquire a knowledge in dressmaking, encouraging the creativity designing their clothes, and / or developing a professional training towards job opportunities.
The lessons of the course are complete, clear and concise. The students learn quickly to cast patterns and make all sort of garment.
The lessons are in the morning or the afternoon, in San Pedro and Nueva Andalucía, with a maximum of 12 students per group.
There are three different levels:

Elementary: The students learn the proper way of taking the measurements and preparing the basic patterns (skirts, shirts, dresses, trousers, jackets…). We teach different stitches (tacking, hems, buttonholes) to enable students to handle different sewing and darning machines. Intermediate: Students learn the variety of textiles and the positioning to practise what they learnt in the previous level. Advanced: Students cast their molds and make any garment (evening dress, suits or faralaes dress), practising the different calculations and changes on the basic patterns. |
