Photography Course in San Pedro, is intended for those people interested in photography with or without previous knowledge.
There are three levels:
Elementary Course,
for students who do not have
any knowledge. First units are about the knowledge of the camera and lens, with
easy photographs, until students become familiar with the equipment he has to
work with. The following units are about light and the basic rules for
composition. Then we deal
with other sort of pictures such as portraits, nigh
t pictures, …after each unit,
students develop and print in the laboratory. The course lasts nine months, six
of them are dedicated to black and white pictures, and three of them to colour
photos.
Intermediate Course, for students that have already studied elementary course, or for amateurs with level. This course is more specific and few units are considered than in the elementary level, but they are treated in a deeper way:

Advanced or Digital Photography,
for students
interested in the subject, though they do not have basic knowledge of
photography but they have computing knowledge: use mouse and files. This course
is mainly for Photoshop program but the first units are similar to the
ones in the elementary course. Students substitute the lab for the computer,
though they also learn the black and white develop, and colour slides develop.
Students learn to scan photographs and transparencies. They also learn to be in
internet and learn to pass on images, as well as to make a photographic album in
the net.
Lessons are theoretical and practical, with some outgoing to the street in order to deal with some units. Students make the photographic process in the class, such as taking photos, developing, printing and photomontage.
Most of the piece of work are showed in exhibitions, at Fundación Municipal Arte y Cultura, and advertising them so that other people can come and see the photographs.
Apart from the lessons, students will also attend photographic exhibitions in the area, as well as photographic trips in the surroundings and to other provinces.
