This course is tailored towards the work environment. This course intends to respond to an increasing demand for personnel with the adequate knowledge of commercial English and Computers for office use.

Thus, there are four classes a week divided between the English and the Computer Course.

English. - This course requires a basic knowledge of the English language. The course starts with general revision of the basic concepts and it progresses quickly in order to achieve the course objectives such as Telephone Customer Attention and writing different types of commercial letters.

Different areas of the secretarial field are covered both in oral and written language.

Classes are dynamic and practical aimed towards the work environment.

The English Class has video and audio material as well as multimedia equipment. These are used to anchor the contents of the course.

Computers. - This course starts from scratch so no previous computer knowledge is needed. However, a basic knowledge in calculation is required. After a brief introduction, the course deals with Windows Vista Operation System, then Microsoft Office 2007 with Word, Excel, Access and Power Point. Outlook Express for Electronic Mail and Navigation in Internet is also dealt with.

These contents are the same as the ones in the Computers Beginners Course. However, these are adapted to the business environment with commercial and computer terms in both English and Spanish.
