The aim of this course is to facilitate the social integration of foreign workers through knowledge of the language and culture (customs, traditions, folklore, topic, etc).

The lessons are held in the afternoon in Nueva Andalucía and students come essentially from Maghreb countries, though there are as well people from Asia (Chinese, Syrians, Pakistani…), therefore in most of the cases, they have to learn a new way of writing.

The course is divided into three levels:

a)     Literacy, is for students who can not read or write though they speak a little  Spanish. They generally have been living in Spain for several years.

b)    Elementary, students learn Spanish grammar. We deal with everyday texts and readings. Furthermore they start with no difficult conversations.

c)     Advanced, is for students who know grammar but they still have some difficulties and want to improve the language. We deal with conversations about topical subjects and some aspects of the Spanish culture.

The course is completely free.
